I am first generation American on my mother’s side, and her German roots shaped my love for European beauty, cafés, and intentional food. I was raised in the foothills of Northern California, surrounded by farms, ranches, and mountains, and by the kind of hands‑on work that teaches you to appreciate things made with care.
My husband, Ken, is a retired Army veteran and southern to the bone. He was born and raised in North Carolina and brings a steady warmth that balances my European leanings. We met in Oklahoma, and somewhere between his Southern roots and my European heart, The Belgian Press found its identity.
